Look What Is On My Table – Lorelei Eurto

The pretty floral tin insert was the inspiration for this macrame wrapped Cup Chain stackable bracelet design! I pulled colors from the tin, Royal Blue, Red, Yellow and Green – and used some waxed Linen cording from my etsy shop, Jewelry Accord.  The biggest challenge when making this bracelet was that I didn’t use a clip board to keep all the strands from getting tangled. I just worked clip-board free, and there was some swearing involved. I feel bad for people walking by when I have one of these tirades. I can’t help it, I’m passionate about jewelry! What can I say!!??

When using the macrame knotting technique on this bracelet, I used 4 strands, 1 of each color, folded so that there were 8 strands in all. To vary the colors, I alternated knots by doing blue and yellow for 4 knots, and then red and green for 4 knots, etc.  Fraying the ends at the end of the bracelet adds some fun texture.”
