Several months ago I posted some pieces of resin cast jewelry on our blog. I also posted the same jewelry onto Pinterest where they have been repined numerous times. This brought me to the conclusion that more education around casting in resin could be of interest to some of you?
Am I right?

Learning from Carmi
As you have read in prior posts, I am a huge fan of Carmi’s Resin Craft Blog. If you aren’t already following her, I highly suggest doing so by subscribing to her blog. I have learned tons of stuff from Carmi and am very inspired by her creations and education.
With Carmi’s permission, I’ve scoured her archives to share with you the adventures and exploration that she has discovered while working with molds and resin. Here are some of the posts that will be most prudent (I just finished a series of Jane Austin videos, so excuse my proper English). She starts with what went wrong and builds on her experience to get it right. Hopefully we will all have an easier time thanks to her authenticity and sharing.
Post 1: Mold Making Craftastrophy
In this post Carmi shows us what not to do when pouring a mold using EasyMold Silicone Rubber!
In this post Carmi shows us how to get it right. (Hot gluing the bangle to the bottom of the mold to start.)
Post 3: Mold Making Redemption
In this post Carmi starts to cast her first project!
In this post Carmi pours multiple colors and talks about what to expect from your first castings.
