Nunn Design Fall Art Retreat was a Success!

We wrapped up our 2017 teaching schedule with our Nunn Design Fall Art Retreat. The evening started in the warehouse of the Nunn Design office with students working through several “Tables of Decisions” to help them begin thinking about color, texture and imagery. Starting this design process the night before allowed us time to move through many different techniques in a short period of time over the course of the retreat.

This was the class project that I was teaching.

Throughout the weekend we learned and created pieces using over 15 different techniques to make up this charm bracelet sampler of pieces. Students were encouraged to create a bracelet that was uniquely their own, a task that was done with great success! Here are some of the beautiful bracelets created by the 2017 Nunn Design Fall Retreat Students.

I had an AMAZING time at this workshop. Above and beyond my expectations. Becky is an incredible instructor, and the opportunity to watch and learn from other artists was inspirational. Thank you thank you!

I learned so much in this workshop. Becky is a very organized, calm, incredible instructor. It’s a great opportunity to benefit from her extensive knowledge and experience. The setting in Port Townsend was magical. I loved the opportunity to stop the warehouse (Thank you, Cheryl, for your patience. ) HIGHLY, recommend the retreat. My cousin joined me for the retreat and had no experience with jewelry making and created beautiful pieces… so bring a friend!

Those are absolutely GORGEOUS! I am enamored of every single creation – the charms are stunning, which made each bracelet a true work of art. The students totally rocked it – and it appears Becky was her inspirational, gloriously creative self. I really wish I had been able to attend!
