Things I Love! Volume 14

One of the things we love most about artists is the way they follow what calls to them.

It might begin with a color, a pattern, a piece of metal, a bit of clay, a bead, a brushstroke, or an object found and saved for later. The beginning can be small, but in the hands of an artist, it becomes something with presence and meaning.

For this volume of Things I Love, we are sharing pieces by talented artists whose work caught Becky’s eye. These pieces made us stop for different reasons: the use of materials, the feeling of the piece, the story it hints at, or the care we can sense in how it was made.

Thank you to the artists who keep paying attention to the ideas that arrive, and who keep making work for the rest of us to notice and enjoy.

Please keep creating.
