Designing With Sari Silk

During our staff art days, we focus on using materials that we might not have used before. Earlier this summer, the focus was on Sari Silk. Here are some samples of our playtime in hopes of inspiring you to use this great material as a design element in your jewelry.

I love these pieces that Melissa created. Melissa is our graphic designer here at Nunn Design, and you can really see her design sense come through in these pieces.

Haylee Troncone, our warehouse diva, created these colorful pieces using Nunn Design Bangles and Metal Stampings.

Haylee had fun engineering this fun necklace using Nunn Design Flat Tag Washers and Sari Silk.

Although Stephanie wasn’t here for our art day, I couldn’t help including some of her beautiful inspirations using Sari Silks.

I love the beautiful colors in sari silks. Only problem…..you have to buy such a large hank. I wish someone would offer sample packs because it does not take much to do a project. I love making wrapped bangles. thanks for the other ideas.
