Earlier this year I contacted polymer clay artist Iris Mishly to see if she would be up to playing with some of the Nunn Design product line. Boy-howdy! Iris did indeed play!
I have featured on our blog some of the tutorials that Iris offers on her polymer clay website PolyPediaOnline. Iris now offers several new tutorials using Nunn Design Products! Take a look at what Iris has to offer.
All of these techniques are taken from one of Iris’s Master Classes. She has a quick and easy tutorial on her blog showing the quick steps, but here is a quick overview of her process.
Step 1: Prepare the sheets with colours and patterns
Step 2: Decide on where to place the template.
Step 3: Placing and cutting.
Step 4: Add liquid polymer clay to adhere the raw polymer clay sheet to the metal.
Step 5: Bake!
I think all of these tutorials look amazing! But wait! There is even more! Iris went beyond polymer clay and created this tutorial using the Nunn Design Channel Beads and a simple micro macramé pattern.
Iris writes on her blog “The knots used here are called “Cavandoli” knotting…I’m sure some of you did it when you were children making friendship bracelets.” Well, if that doesn’t scream, “I can so do that,” I don’t know what would.
Thank you Iris for all your great inspiration! The projects and tutorials look smashing!
Iris is offering a 15% off coupon to the readers of the Nunn Design Blog. Just write “nunn” when checking out to receive your discount. The offer is good until June 8th, 2016.
