12 Tutorials to Unwrap Your Creativity!


Over the next couple of weeks, we have a lot in store for you! In celebration of the upcoming holidays, we have been dreaming of ways to unwrap your creativity. Here are 12 tutorials we will be posting in the weeks to come.


1. Holiday Ornament Workshop – November 19th!

The first to kick off our inspiration is our Holiday Ornament Workshop. The tutorial and all of the products you will need to create this project, including the pre-made molds, will be posted on our website on November 19th. If you order right away, you will have plenty of time to receive the supplies and join me in a Facebook Live on November 30th at 10:00 am PST! I will be walking you through the whole process and answering questions you may have.

  • How to mix and sculpt Crystal Clay
  • How to mix and colorize Nunn Design Resin with Castin’ Craft Opaque Pigments

2. How to Use Nunn Design Transfer Sheets with Resin on Flat Tags – November 20th!

Adding unique imagery to Nunn Design Flat Tags and applying a clear coat of Nunn Design 2-Part Resin is a great way to create unique charms.

Here is what you will learn in this tutorial:

  • Learn the basics of how to use a Nunn Design Transfer Sheets
  • Learn how to print your own transfer sheets
  • Learn how to mix Nunn Design Resin
  • Learn trouble shooting techniques on how to apply the transfer sheets to a flat surface

3. How to Use Nunn Design Transfer Sheets with Colorized Resin on Flat Tags – November 22nd!

Take your charms one step farther with a splash of color under the transfer sheet image.

We are mixing up the look with different Nunn Design Flat Tags for this project.

I recently was asked if it was possible to embed organics into Crystal Clay and apply Nunn Deign Resin. Well, YES! It is a great way to add a splash of color behind the organics.

7. How to Use Crystal Clay with Gilding Flakes and Nunn Design Resin – December 6th!

Gilding Flakes applied to black Crystal Clay is undeniably elegant.

Here is what you will learn in this tutorial:

  • How to mix and embed Gilding Flakes to Crystal Clay within Nunn Design Bezels
  • How to mix Nunn Design Resin
  • How to apply the Nunn Design Resin

8. How to use Crystal Clay, Crackled Gilding Flakes and Nunn Design Resin – December 11th!

This technique is really fast and fairly easy. You roll the mixed Crystal Clay into a ball and apply the Gilding Flakes around the outside of the rolled ball. When you press the ball into the bezel, the Gilding Flakes crack and provide a very interesting effect. You can create great finished jewelry piece even without the Nunn Design Resin!

9. Nunn Design Resin Drop Pendants using Excess Resin and Gilding Flakes – December 13th!

I’m always looking for ways to use up that soon to harden cup of mixed Nunn Design Resin. This tutorial allows you to use every last bit of your resin without concern of waste.

Here is what you will learn in this tutorial:

  • How to mix Nunn Design Resin and use every last bit!
  • How to cut and apply Gilding Flakes to the soft cured resin
  • How to sculpt and insert into a Nunn Design Pendant top.

10. How to Embed Seed Beads into Crystal Clay within Nunn Design Bezels – December 18th!

Seed beads that are strung onto a string are ideal for embedding into Crystal Clay!

Here is what you will learn in this tutorial:

  • How to use Open Back Bezels with Crystal Clay
  • How to mix and embed Crystal Clay into Nunn Design Findings
  • How to Embed seed beads to create unique designs

11. How to Embed Faceted Bead Chain into Crystal Clay using Open Back Bezels and Rings – December 20th!

I love the look that the Faceted Bead Chain provides when embedded into Crystal Clay. It reminds me of old Victorian steel cut buttons!

Here is what you will learn in this tutorial:

  • How to mix and embed Crystal Clay into Nunn Design Bezels
  • How to embed Faceted Bead Chain

12. Fabric Bar Earrings with Nunn Design Resin – December 27th!

This tutorial came out of our most recent Nunn Design Art Day. Christee was the one who was curious about applying fabric and resin on the Nunn Design Bar Earrings. I think they came out amazingly!

Here is what you will learn in this tutorial:

  • How to apply fabric using Nunn Design Glue onto the Bar Earrings
  • How to seal the fabric prior to applying resin
  • How to mix Nunn Design Resin

I don’t know about you, but I am very excited about this series of tutorials! Some of them may be a repeat tutorial for you, but they are created using different findings and many of these tutorials will have a video that you can enjoy!
